Ship ashore - the beginning of the shipyard period

Yesterday we sailed the Dagmar Aaen from Flensburg to Egernsund in Denmark. The shipyard "Skibs & Badebyggeri" is located there and has been looking after the ship from the very beginning. They are real experts! This morning, the Dagmar Aaen was loaded onto the slip car and then towed ashore. There, the underwater hull first had to be blasted with a high-pressure cleaner. As long as the hull is still wet, the fouling can be removed easily.

The next weeks will be exciting. There is a lot to do - we will report regularly!
