29.07.2015: Departure

Farewell

As early as 7 o'clock everybody was having breakfast because this was the day we would all return in our home countries. Matching the sad morning of departure from Gepatschhaus it began to rain. At 8 o'clock our bus appeared and we said good bye to all the nice Gepatschhaus crew who had been looking after our well-being during our stay.

And down we went along the lake and further on towards Landeck where we would fetch our train to Innsbruck. At Innsbruck station we said farewell to Kristin and then travelled on to Kufstein, Rosenheim and Munich East. Here we split into two groups, one travelling on to Munich and further on in Germany, the other taking the commuter train to Munich airport.

Soon we said good-bye to Esra, flying back to Istanbul, Turkey, to Kaius flying home to Tallinn, Estomia and Olivia, who went to Newark in the US. Ulrich and Merlin were left to watch Ayanda's family reunion, when she was met by her 2014 German host-family at the airport. They took care of her because she was leaving for South-Africa a lot later in the evening.

Then the two of us boarded the plane to Hamburg. The I.C.E.-Youth Camp 2015 was finally over.
